Getting error "UseUnicode option must be set to True for Unicode OCI Environment" when changing password
Description
When trying to Change Password trough "Session | Change Password" the following error message appears: "UseUnicode option must be set to True for Unicode OCI Environment"
Cause
Trying to change the password with a Proxy user
Resolution
WORKAROUND
Change the password without using a proxy user.
STATUS
Issue fixed in version 12.10. The latest version of Toad for Oracle can be downloaded from this link.
