Error: path to RMAN (Recovery Manager) is not valid whentrying to run a query froma saved script. Thisstarted to happen since upgrading to TOAD 10.1.
Ifuser copies and pastes all queries to a seperate editor, it is possible to run them with no issues. It only seems to occur whenopening a saved file in the editor
and tryingto run a query from there.
RESOLUTION 1
1]Go to View|Toad options| Executable and, on the right panel, check the value for RMAN.
2] Modify or delete this value if necessary and re test the issue
RESOLUTION 2
Toad.ini is corrupted. To fix that please rename the Toad.ini file:
1] Exit Toad
2] Locate the Toad.ini file within the Toad home directory
3] Right click on this and select rename - rename this to TOAD_OLD.ini
4] Restart Toad and retest the issue
Note: You will loose your settings but you have the option to rename your TOAD_OLD.ini back to toad.ini.
