Messages panel has no horizontal scrollbar in editor component (4329611)

When docking the Messages panel to the left (in the Navigator) in the Editor, after an unsuccessful compilation the displayed error messages in the area of the Message panel can hardly be read (they are usually too long) as in the Message panel there is no horizontal scrollbar.

Error messages usually are too long to be able to be displayed completely.

Is there a way to add a horizontal scrollbar to this type of panel?
