When Toad is packed in Wise, an Uninstall/Remove item is created in the Control Panel . Previously in the older Toad versions, it was able to locate the "Toad icon" within Toad.exe file and attach this icon to the Remove Program item (easily recognizable for users wanting to remove Toad from their PC).
However, in the latest version of Toad, this icon is no longer present in the Toad.exe file, i.e. Wise cannot find it. Can the Toad icon be put back?
WORKAROUND
The uninstall is listed in the Start Menu items instead of an icon.
STATUS
Submitted as an enhancement request to be implemented in a future release of Toad for Oracle; pending approval.
