Explain Plan does not work without CTRL+E (4312513)

After upgrade to Toad 12, I press the "Explain Plan" icon like I used to do in previous versions. The plan does not show up. Instead, there is a completely new empty explain plan window that appears.

The CTRL+E still working properly and the appropriate explain plan is showing in the result window like expected.

SOLUTION

(Make sure Toad should not be running when making changes in these folders)

- Make sure you exit Toad
- Go to C:\Users\UserID\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle
- You should have some folders with 11.X and 12.X
- Rename the 12.0 to 12.old
- Rename the last 11.x folder to 12.0
- Start Toad

If this does not resolved the issue, then;

- Exit Toad
- Rename 12.0 to 12.old2
- Start Toad
