Error when running DATACOPY parameter from command line: "ORA-01017: invalid username/password; l -
Description
Created a script to run Data Copy on the command line using Schema Browser | Tables | Copy Data to another Schema, and saved all settings to file.
When running this script using the following command line, the below error occurs:
"c:\program Files\quest Software\Toad for Oracle9.0\toad.exe" CONNECT=[userid]/[psswd]@[database] DATACOPY=[script file]
ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied -
Resolution
Upgrade to version 9.1.0 or higher. The latest version of Toad for Oracle can be downloaded here.
