Title
Error "The program can't start because oracore11.dll is missing from your computer" -
Description
On clicking the Connect button, the following error occurs:
"Toad.exe - System Error The program can't start because oracore11.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem"
Problem 1 - After clicking OK, Toad does connect to the database
Problem 2 - Toad is unable to connect

Cause
Cause 1 - The folder location of oracore.dll is missing from System Environment Variable PATH. e.g. Path states:
C:\app\product\11.2.0\client_1 instead of
C:\app\\product\11.2.0\client_1\BIN
Cause 2 - Nvidia Graphics Card Software overwriting PATH

Resolution
RESOLUTION 1:
Ensure that the full path location is stated in the System Environment Variable PATH i.e.
Start | Right Click Computer | Properties | Advanced System Settings | Environment Variables | System Variables | Path - Edit if required
RESOLUTION 2:
Please review KB Article 103591 for additional information
RESOLUTION 3:
A different type of Oracle Client software was installed (i.e. Oracle Client DataProvider). Please install a standard Oracle Client instead.
