In Code Analysis, I click on the 'Edit Rules' button, however the XPATH dialog box and 'Test Rule' button is grayed out.
Cause 1
Toad requires an Xpert key to enable Code Analysis Rules Editing.
Cause 2
If the XPATH dialog box is empty then the rule cannot be edited.
RESOLUTION 1
Upgrade from Toad Professional to Toad Xpert to enable rules editing
RESOLUTION 2
As designed. No editing is allowed if XPATH is empty
