Column name (pick list) drop down feature nonfunctional with the update statement
Description

Column name (pick list) drop down feature in the Editor, which appears after an object followed by a period, does not show when used in an Update statement, and it no longer appears thereafter, unless Toad is closed and reopened.

Example:
Update {TABLENAME.EN} set {TABLENAME.EN}.
Resolution

WORKAROUND:
To display the drop down, use the key combination: Shift+Ctrl+t after the period.

STATUS:
Issue fixed in version 9.1. The latest version of Toad for Oracle can be downloaded here.
