In previous versions of Toad a user can place a mouse cursor on an anonymous block then press Shift+F9 to execute the block.
In Toad 10.6 if the user does the same thing, they get the following errors:
ORA-06550: line 9, column 3:
PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol "end-of-file" when expecting one of
the following: ; <an identifier> <a double-quoted delimited-identifier>
The symbol ";" was substituted for "end-of-file" to continue.
In Toad 10.6 the Editor is not passing along the closing semi-colon character to Oracle.
STATUS:
This issue has been reported to the development team and is waiting for fix in a future release of Toad for Oracle.
WORKAROUND:
Press F9 rather than Shift+F9 to compile the anonymous block.
