Using Database Compare on Oracle 11g always results in schema passwords being different even w
Description

User runs Database Compare on an 11g Oracle database against another database. The compare results says the passwords are different even when they are really the same.
Cause

Location of the passwords has changed in Oracle 11g. Toad for Oracle may be comparing the wrong fields for passwords.
Resolution

STATUS:
This issue has been reported to the development team and is waiting for fix in a future release of Toad for Oracle.
