Toad for Oracle. Missing RAC connections or nodes in Session Browser.
Description
The 2 node RAC cluster does not appear (it's missing or it's not displayed) in the Session Browser. Other connections are visible, however some connections are missing. The two RAC sessions also appear in the GV$SESSION when manually queried.
Resolution
WORKAROUND
Locate the filter icon in the Session Browser window (it is the 5th icon and it looks like a funnel).
If the Filter icon is in red color, Click on the drop-down arrow next to it & Click on the items that have a check-mark which will de-select them.
De-selecting the filters will set the filter icon to grey in colour which indicates no filters are selected.
With the filters de-selected this should ensure the two missing sessions should appear.
By default, the Filter is enabled for “Exclude NULL and SYSTEM OS Users”.
