User launches the Schema Browser and clicks on the Object Filter icon. Toad appears to hang. It takes a few moments before the Object Filter window appears and user has control of Toad.
Possible file corruption in the User Files folder
RESOLUTION:
1. Reset the settings files to default by shutting down Toad.
2. On Windows XP, browse to C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\<version>
3. On Windows Vista/7, browse to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\<version>
4. Rename the folder "User Files" to "User Files Backup"
5. Launch Toad and retest the issue.
6. You can restore some setting files by shutting down Toad and copying them over from "User Files Backup" to the new "User Files" folder.

- Connectionpwds.ini (contains encrypted passwords)
- SavedSQL.dat (contains SQL Recall history)
