Error: 'Missing Element Name' when moving between schemas -
Description
An error message 'Missing Element Name' is returned, when opening the Schema Browser (after a connection is made) and moving between Schemas and Object Types.

Cause
A file may be corrupt.

Resolution
1. Completely uninstall Toad for Oracle via the Quest Installer:
( Start | Programs | Quest Software | Quest Installer | Quest Installer )
2. Make sure all Toad for Oracle files, including the Toad 9.7 entries in the C:\Documents and Settings\User_Name\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\9.7 directory are renamed or removed.
3. Then download a new copy from:
https://support.quest.com/SUPPORT/index?page=home4. When Toad has been re-installed, reconnect to the database and the error will no longer appear.
