How do you stop or cancel long running SQL Statements? In previous versions of Toad (7.x, 8.x, 9.x), there was an icon/button "Cancel" that is used in stopping or cancelling an active script or SQL statement.
There's a 'white hand' Cancel button next to the 'Execute statement' button. If it's not next to the execute button, right click the Execute Statement button and click Customize...
Under the Commands tab, highlight Execution/Compilation. You will find the Terminate icon 'white hand'. You can drag and drop it on the menu bar.
