Using the TOAD FTP utility, it is sending ASCII files to Unix with carriage controls, meaning that the end of each line has ^M. Unable to use the SQL LOADER to load the data into the database due to this problem. The file types are '.csv' and '.txt'. Within TOAD FTP utility, this problem is only occurring with ASCII option.
The Binary option from the TOAD FTP utility works well.
WORKAROUND:
Use a basic FTP from the Windows prompt to transfer the file successfully or third party FTP utility.
STATUS:
Waiting for fix in a future release of Toad for Oracle.
There is also SOL41379 which provides ^M carriage return for both ASCII and Binary options for the TOAD FTP Utility.
