File | Open dialog window, keyboard typing paths entries do not auto populate anymore

In all the old versions of TOAD, one could type into the file open dialog... ex. one could type a partial path and a list of options meeting that criteria would appear and one could down/up arrow to select an option... (See attached screenshot "old open dialog"). 

Now one has to move my hand from the keyboard over to the mouse to navigate through many levels of directories, scan for the file one is looking for because nothing except perfectly spelled full paths starting at the root drive letter can be typed into the new file open dialog.
This is no longer supported in version 12.0.

This issue was fixed in Toad 12.1. The latest version of Toad can be downloaded here.

If one wanted to go to C:\Files\Cases\My Cases\Case 1\File 2.sql one could start typing "c:\f" and the list would show all the folders under C:\ that start with the letter F, one could arrow key down and select it, or one could type the full word "files" and hit enter, then type "c" and all folders starting with C would appear or one could type the whole word "cases" and hit enter, etc... The new open dialog makes it much slower for user to navigate some directories. User used to able to up folder by typing ..\ [enter] ..\ [enter] p [auto completes to packages/package bodies, one select one and hit enter]; for example.
