When I use Toad 10.x, data values are being trimmed when returning results sets using an Oracle Transparent Gateway link to DB2 database. This did not happen in Toad for Oracle 9.7.2. How can get around this?
Toad for Oracle does not officially support Oracle Transparent Gateways (OTG).
If OTG worked in Toad for Oracle 9.7.2, it was not specifically developed.
If this features worked in the 9.x versions, it would have been an extra bonus for the user.
Thus, if OTG do not work in 10.x is never officially supported and thus it could not be labeled a Toad for Oracle defect.

Development confirmed that Oracle Transparent Gateways (OTG) were never officially supported in Toad for Oracle.
