Schema Compare does not show difference when NUMBER precision is different
Description

When using the Schema Compare between two of our environments the utility is not identifying a table column precision change between, for example, a NUMBER(5) and a NUMBER(6).
Cause

The option checked to compare the precision needs to be enabled.
Resolution

1) From the main menu: Database | Compare | Schemas
2) Select Options Tab
3) Select Object Type Specific Options
4) Under Misc section | Check Compare column scale, precision, & length
