WORKAROUND:
If the NLS_LANG client parameter is changed to ENGLISH_UNITED KINGDOM.WE8MSWIN1252 then it works ok in Toad and shows the expected result, but when set to GERMAN_GERMANY.WE8MSWIN1252 the results are incorrect in Toad.STATUS:
