Getting Ora-02264 creating new table with constraint (4242814)

When creating a new table with a constraint in Toad’s create table window, the below error is received. 

“ORA-02264: name already used by an existing constraint”

Toad seems to be trying to create the constraint twice.  Once in the create table statement and again in the alter table statement.

WORKAROUND:
Click the ‘Show SQL’ button to view the SQL in the editor and manually edit the script so that the constraint is only created once.

STATUS:

Waiting for fix to be released in a future version of Toad for Oracle.
