How to insert a table or multiple tables into the Entity Relationship (ER) Diagram?
To add tables to an ER Diagram in Toad 8.5.x and above:
1. Open the diagram tool by selecting Tools | ER Diagram (Toad 8.5.x to 8.6.x) or Database | Report | ER Diagram (Toad 9.x and above).
2. To add tables, you will need either of the following visible:
* Schema Browser
* Project Manager
* Object Search window
* Object Palette
3. Select the tables of choice by holding the CTRL or Shift keys while left-clicking the mouse button. Another way is to click on one of the tables then hold down the Shift key while pressing the up and down arrow keys.
4. Drag and drop the selected tables onto the ER Diagram window.
