I'm attempting to set up "email settings" in Toad Options in order to utilize email delivery of a daily scheduled task for the Health Check report.
When testing my connection settings I get
"Mail Error: Socket Error #10061 / Connection Refused"
The Mail Error: Socket Error #10061 usually tells us that the SMTP server has refused your connection.
Verify that the SMTP server and port are correct. You may also check if the SMTP port is open from your client machine by running the following commands:
ping (SMTP Server)
telnet (SMTP Server) (SMTP Port)
