Importing data, using the ODBC Database source option, has performance issues. The longer the import goes on for, the more and more the import slows down.

WORKAROUND:
None

STATUS:
Waiting for fix to be implemented in a future version of Toad for Oracle.

This has been fixed in the Toad for Oracle 12.5 beta version. The performance has been greatly improved. You can download the beta at http://www.toadworld.com/products/toad-for-oracle/toad_for_oracle_beta_program/default.aspx.
