SQL statement saved as a file can't be executed
Description

In TOAD 12.6.0.53 if you have open an object in the editor, from double-clicking it in the Schema Browser, and then go to File | Open and choose a previously saved SQL file, it cannot be executed with F9, but only as a script. The Execute button is greyed out.
Resolution

WORKAROUND:
Issue fixed in the 12.7 beta version, available from: http://www.toadworld.com/products/toad-for-oracle/toad_for_oracle_beta_program/default.aspx
