Code Templates not found after installing Toad for Oracle version 9.7 over version 9.6.1 -
Description
If Toad 9.7 is installed into the same directory as the previous version, 9.6.1, the Code Templates cannot be found.
The following error message appears:
"C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\User Files\NEWPROC.SQL for PROCEDURE template not found." -
Cause
From version 9.7, the User Files are now saved in a new location:
C:\Documents and Settings\USER_NAME\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\9.7\User Files -
Resolution
Through the Quest Installer, (Start | Programs | Quest Software | Quest Installer | Quest Installer), please un-install and re-install Toad 9.7 into a completely new directory, rather than over the existing location from an earlier version.
