Enters a valid license key for Toad 10.x which works, but in subsequent launches of Toad, a prompt to enter the key
is given. The key does not seem to be saved.
When entered into Toad 11.x, it seems to be saved, and the key works as expected.
This issue can affect various versions of Toad.
The key generating system has an option to associate a key with a version. But if a version is specified, it will not be properly recognized by older versions of Toad. The key should not be limited in it's use with any version of Toad.
WORKAROUND 1:
Test keys in different versions of Toad. You may need to upgrade Toad and use that version with this key.
WORKAROUND 2:
If upgrading is not possible, please contact licensing to discuss the issue and have a new key cut that includes the older version of Toad that it will be used with.
