Error refreshing data in Schema Browser "OCI-22060: argument [2] is an invalid or uninitialized n (4226374)

User's database tables are dynamically updated by background DBMS Job events.  He uses the Refresh icon or has the Auto Refresh icon checked in Schema Browser Data tab in order to view the most updated data. Toad results in the following error:

"OCI-22060: argument [2] is an invalid or uninitialized number..â€

1. Select View | Toad Options
2. Select Data Grids | Data on the left
3. Check â€Display Large Numbers in Scientific Notationn†checkbox and hit OK
4. Open an new Schema Browser and select â€Refresh Detail Painn†icon.  This the third Refresh icon on the Schema Browser left-side toolbar
