Error compiling procedure using INDENT parameter inside XMLSERIALIZE command: "Error] Syntax c
Description

The following error occurs when attempting to compile a procedure in an 11g database containing XMLSERIALIZE command having INDENT parameter:
"[Error] Syntax check (6: 75): Found: 'INDENT' Expecting: )"
CREATE OR REPLACE procedure test
is...
SELECT XMLSERIALIZE(Document (xmltype('<hello>test</hello>') ) as clob INDENT SIZE = 4)
into ...
end test;
/
Cause

QP5.dll PLSQL parser file does not recognize INDENT parameter.
Resolution

WORKAROUND:
Use F5 or Execute Script to run procedure.
STATUS:
Waiting for fix to be released in a future version of Toad for Oracle.

Issue fixed in QP5 file provided in Toad 11 Beta. Beta releases are available at:
