The following error is received after attempting to execute the Data Export Utility Wizard:
"Error: EXP-00000: Message 0 not found; No message file for product=RDBMS, facility=EXP
Invalid format of Export Utility name. Export terminated unsuccessfully"
Toads Export Utility is a GUI interface that launches Oracle's EXP.exe file. This is an Oracle Export executable issue.
1. Locate your EXP.EXE file in Oracle client installation path (ie. C:\oracle\ora92\bin\EXP.EXE). This file must be installed and executing properly for Toad's Export utility Wizard to function.
2. In Toad, select View | Toad Options | Executables and ensure the Export field has the correct path and file name of the EXP.exe file name
3. Verify that ORACLE_HOME is properly set.
4. Have database DBA properly configure the EXP.exe file
5. If all else fails, try re-installing the Oracle client and include the Export EXP.EXE utility.
