How to locate and enter new license key after purchasing Toad for Oracle Subscription? -
Description
User has purchased Toad for Oracle Subscription and need to enter their new license key into Toad. The purchasing email received includes only the license number and not include the license key. How does one locate the license key and activates the key in Toad after purchasing the tool? -
Resolution
As a subscription application, Toad for Oracle Subscription provides automatic online license entitlement verification. The entitlement check is offered as a subscription feature and occurs regularly while using Toad. This means that Toad will automatically assign the account used to login to Toad to the entitled license key. Therefore, users don't need to take any manual actions to locate or enter their license keys in the tool.
To view licenses used in Toad, click Help | Licensing menu option. To manage licenses use the online license portal. Log into the portal using the same credentials as the product or the Quest portal page.
