How to switch from DB2 Client local database directory to have all the data sources only stored in db2dsdriver.cfg configuration file (without any local db directory), and how do you import the connection information from db2dsdriver.cfg configuration file into Toad Connection Manager?
As per the installation guide - If we use IBM DSD environment we can import your connection profile from a Data Server Driver configuration file."
Functionality to be able to import connections from the db2dsdriver.cfg configuration file was implemented from v8.0.
In the View | Connection Manager window, if you click the 'Import DB2 Connections' option, this should allow you to import the connections from the file.

The issue has been fixed in the latest release of Toad for DB2 8.0. Please download new release from here.
