Database name list shows empty on "Create a New Connection" panel even after Import Profile. (4273594)

After installation of Toad for DB2, user got many connection profiles imported to ToadC47 db2 client.  However, File | New | Connection | click on an arrow on database name list or alias | it shows an empty or blank list.

RESOLUTION 1:

If LDAP, the following commands must be executed:

    db2set DB2_ENABLE_LDAP=YES and

    db2set DB2LDAPHOST=hostname[:port] on TOADC47 DB2 client.

    Create/save a new connection. Right-clicking on the connection, selecting Service | Manager.

    Create a new DB2 service in the Service Manager tab that pointed towards ToadC47.
 
    Start the service running.
 
    Close Toad and re-started it.

RESOLUTION 2:

If NOT LDAP or if user has multiple DB2 clients installed, run the "Default DB2 and Database Client Interface Selection Wizard" ("db2swtchg.exe" program) to switch the default DB2 client to Toad's DB2 client. Restart PC as well.
