Memory issues when moving data using an insert select statement. (4229384)

Toad for DB2's memory usage is oddly high. When trying to use an insert select statement in the editor to move data from one table to another, there are spikes in memory and page files while Toad for DB2 tries to run the statement and eventually Toad will error out with a memory errors. But no data should be displayed and it just copying data from one table to another. Working outside of Toad, there does not seem to be any problem with memory usage when this sql is run.
