Unsupported character encoding 'utf8mb4' -
Description
When the utf8mb4 encoding is selected in Connection Properties, the error "Unsupported character encoding 'utf8mb4'" is displayed. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
When the database server is configured to use utf8mb4, it should not be necessary to have to define character set, as default character set is used, but it should not be a problem to set just uft8 encoding.
SOLUTION
Waiting for a fix in a future version of Toad for SQL Server.
