Not able to find Local storage connection in the Navigation Manager panel.
If Help | Licensing confirms a Professional Edition and connections have been lost, try the following resolutions. Otherwise, a Professional key will need to be applied to the current Base Edition.
RESOLUTION 1:
1. Make sure Toad is not running.
2. Restart Toad settings.
2.1 Go to "C:\Users\ [Windows username] \AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\ Toad Data Point 3.8".
2.2 Rename "Toad Data Point 3.8" to "Toad Data Point 3.8.Old".
2.3 If this folder "Toad Data Point 3.7" or "Toad Data Point 3.6" rename these too.
2.4 Open Toad Data Point.
And the Local storage should be available again, if this workaround doesn't work try resolution 2.
RESOLUTION 2:
1. Uninstall Toad Data Point 3.8.
2. Install Toad again but run the installer file as "Administrator" (With the installer file highlighted, right click and choose "Run as administrator").
3. Open Toad Data Point 3.8 and the Local storage should be available now.
