Description
After opening Query Builder or the Editor or Tools |Options | Environment Extensions,the following error occurs:
System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException
Element not found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070490)

at System.Reflection.Assembly.LoadFile(String path) -
Cause
Possible cause: Unable to access the Toad User Settings, or corrupted Toad User Settings Files.

Resolution
Resolution 1:
Reboot machine
Resolution 2:
1. Close Toad.
2. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Quest Software folder.
3. Rename Toad for Data Analysts 2.1 folder to Toad for Data Analysts 2.1 OLD.
4. Reopen Toad and reconnect.(Note: Any previous customized user settings will be lost after performing Resolution 2.)
Resolution 3:
Uninstall Toad for Data Analysts with the Quest Installer and reinstall it.
