SAS database Generic ODBC error: "Toad Data Point has stopped working" and "An unhandled Microsoft .Net Framework exception occurred in toad.exe [3428]"
Description

Able to successfully connect to SAS datasets on Toad Data Point 4.1.0.226 (64 bit) using the Generic ODBC connection. However, Toad Data Point 4.3.0.718 (64 bit) gets the error below.

ERROR:
"Toad Data Point has stopped working"

Click on "Debug", and it shows the error:

"An unhandled Microsoft .Net Framework exception occurred in toad.exe [3428]. Just-In-Time debugging this exception failed with the following error: No installed debugger has Just-In-Time debugging enabled. In Visual Studio, Just-In-Tme debugging can be enabled from Tools/Options/Debugging/Just-In-Time."
Resolution

Updating the SAS driver from 9.401 to 9.406 has fixed the issue per a user report.
