The 'Save Changes' icon or button does not commit changes / updates to my data grid.

Resolution
You will need to have the Auto Commit turned ON if you want to have the ‘Save Changes’ icon to commit the changes you make. If Auto Commit id OFF, you will need to click on the ‘Commit changes...’ icon.
The ‘Save Changes’ and ‘Cancel Changes’ icons are used more on the contents of the cell. You can use those icons to save or cancel the changes on the cell.
The Auto-Commit functionality includes the ‘Save Changes’ icon and when you exit the window. It will not ask anymore to commit the changes when you exit; it will do it for you already.
Many usually don’t want to turn ON the Auto-Commit feature; please use the Commit icon when you specifically want to commit changes to data changes in the database.
