Exception Error "Could not find a part of path...Quest.PersistentCache.xml" -
Description
When connecting to any database and selecting a schema from Object Browser, the following error may occur:
System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException
Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Data Analysis Trial 1.1\Toad Persistent Cache\Quest.PersistentCache.xml'. -
Resolution
Go to Tools menu | Options | Database | Cache and change the directory for Persistent Cache to something simplier like "C:\ToadCache" a short path with no spaces if possible.
