When trying to connect to a MySQL Database which requires a clear password authentication, the following error message appears:

'Authentication method 'mysql_clear_password' not supported by any of the available plugins'
Cause

Clear Password Authentication is not currently supported in Toad Data Point
Resolution

WORKAROUND:
None.
