Description

When trying to modify table data in an Oracle 11g table via the Toad Object Explorer where the table contains a CHAR(1) data type the following error occurs when trying to commit a new value and\or stepping off the cell in the data grid:
Value length exceeds the parameter size
Resolution

WORKAROUND:
Use update SQL statements in Toad Editor to make data changes.
STATUS:
Waiting for a fix in a future release of Toad Data Point.
