I am using a Netezza Database via ODBC. When I log into the database with a user that contains a period in it, i.e. "first.second" and then run a query successfully, I then use the schema drop-down list to change schemas and re-run the same query again or even a differnt query, I get the following error:
Quest.Toad.NativeOdbc.NativeOdbcExeption
Connection does not exist

The issue does not occur for usersnames that do not contain a period.
Resolution

WORKAROUND:
None.

STATUS:

Waiting for fix to be released in a future version of Toad for Data Analysts.
