Access Violation error when Execute button is selected in Import Table Data wizard. (4224952)

Access Violation error received when the Execute button is selected in Import Table Data wizard to import data into table.

Error caused by using an Excel sheet for the import that contains the word "NULL" in columns. Additionally the AutoMap feature was not used in the wizard. At the point, where Toad normally prompts user how to treat "NULL" words, as NULL values or the word "NULL", error occurs.

WORKAROUND:

Replace all "NULL" text in Excel sheet with blanks.

Select AutoMap in File Preview screen of wizard.

STATUS:

Issue fixed in version 9.5.0.   The latest version of Toad for Oracle can be downloaded here.
