Error Message after changing default file locations: List index out of bounds (-1) (4329234)

After changing the default file locations in the options menu, I am unable to start TDM. It pops up an error dialog, List index out of bounds (-1), then exits

The problem can be caused by the changed layout of the application (whether you docked/undocked some panes etc.) or by any model you worked with or were attempting to open (depends on origin of the model, changes you made etc. ) In any case, it shouldn't occur if you only changed paths in Options. Below are the steps that you can try to resolve this issue:

1.   Rename the TDM.txe file e.g. to TDM.txe2.  
        By default, this file is stored at: C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad Data Modeler\Configs  
2.  Start TDM again and see the result.  
        After you start TDM 3, default layout should be loaded. If the error does not appear, please feel free to modify the layout now.
3.  If the error occurs again,   zip your Configs folder. Make sure to attach the .zip of your configs folder in your case.  
4.   Try to delete the Configs folder and then run TDM3 again.    
          The Configs folder default path is:
          C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad Data Modeler
