Description
In Toad Data Modeler 3.5, what is the procedure to upload the abbreviation file to Toad Data Modeler, so that we can use these naming conventions when converting the logical model to physical model? I have one Excel file which will be having business names in one column and the abbreviations in the other column and I want to upload/configure that file into Toad Data Modeler to use it when we are converting the logical model to physical model. What are the steps to upload the file?

No, this feature was not available in version 3.5 or any earlier.
This feature was added version 3.6. The latest version of Toad Data Modeler can be downloaded at: https://support.quest.com/toad-data-modeler/download-new-releases
There are several Renaming Conventions movies in the Modeling community. The movie #39 shows how to load CSV file.
Sample can be found in the following location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software\Toad Data Modeler 4.3\Naming Conventions\CSV\Basic Abbreviations.csv
To that format the Excel sheet should be exported.
