When entering an authorization key and site message in Toad Data Modeler, the key is rejected with the following message:
"<DD-MMM-YYYY> is not a valid date"
Toad Data Modeler fails to recognize the machine's system date when using the dd-mmm-yy format.
WORKAROUND
Change the machine's short date regional settings to a format that contains only numbers.
1. Start | Settings | Control Panel | Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options | Regional and Language Options
2. Under Regional Options tab, click Customize
3. Go to Date tab
4. Under Short date | Short date format, change it to any other format that will contain only numbers. Do not choose dd-MMM-yy.
5. Click Apply
6. Open Toad Data Modeler and enter the authorization key
STATUS
Waiting for fix in a future release of Toad Data Modeler.
