About Dell SQL Optimizer for IBM DB2 z/OS
Getting started with SQL Optimizer for IBM DB2 z/OS
SQL Optimizer for IBM® DB2® z/OS® is a powerful extension to Dell™ Toad™ for IBM® DB2® z/OS®. It validates database code and fully automates the manual and time-intensive process of SQL optimization to generate SQL alternatives and locate the most efficient SQL statement. SQL Optimizer for IBM® DB2® z/OS® maximizes the performance of your SQL statements to ensure they are performing as fast as possible.
SQL Optimizer for IBM® DB2® z/OS® 5.0 is a major release.
Support for Windows 8.0, Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 - SQL Optimizer for IBM® DB2® z/OS® supports Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012.
Before installing SQL Optimizer for IBM® DB2® z/OS®, ensure your system meets the following minimum hardware and software requirements:
