Before installing the pure 64-bit package of NetVault on RHEL 7 x86-64, install the following package:

RHEL 8

Before installing the pure 64-bit package of NetVault on RHEL 8 x86-64, install the following package:


	NOTE: For RHEL 7 and 8 version, if you do not have libglibmm library installed, you have to explicitly install it by executing following commands yum install glibmm24-devel. yum install libicu

SLES 15

Before installing the pure 64-bit package of NetVault Server on SLES 15 64-bit, complete the following steps:

•

Install the following package:

system-group-obsolete (if group sys is not present)

•

Create the following link:

ln -s /usr/lib64/libtcl8.6.so /usr/lib64/libtcl8.5.so

Before installing the pure 64-bit package of the NetVault Client on SLES 15 64-bit, complete the following steps:

•

Download and install libopenssl0_9_8-0.9.8j-62.1.x86_64.rpm from the SUSE Downloads website.

•

Install the following package:

system-group-obsolete (if group sys is not present)

Ubuntu 18.04 and 20.4

Before installing the pure 64-bit package of NetVault on 64-bit Ubuntu 18.04, create the following link:

ln -s /usr/lib /usr/lib64

Before installing the pure 64-bit package of NetVault on 64-bit Ubuntu 20.4, complete the following steps:

Create the following link:

ln -s /usr/lib /usr/lib64

Install the following packages:

apt-get install libaio1
