nvclientremove

Removes a client from the NetVault Server. You must run this utility on the NetVault Server.

-client

Specifies NetVault name of the client that you want to remove. You can only specify a single client name with this option.

-version

Displays build date of the NetVault distribution installed on the machine.

Device-specific utilities

asf_load_media

Loads the specified media into the drive and locks it in the drive as Windows Advanced System Format (ASF) media.

-m

Specifies the label of the target media item.

-b

Specifies the barcode of the target media item

-d

Specifies the name of the target drive.

-s

Specifies the name of the NetVault machine to which the target device is locally attached. If the device is locally attached to a client (SmartClient), use this option to specify the client name.

-c

Specifies the name of the NetVault Client to which the target device is locally attached.

-wait

Waits until the task has completed.

asf_release_drive

Releases lock placed by the “asf_load_media” command and allows NetVault to use the drive and the media.

-d

Specifies the name of the target drive.

-s

Specifies the name of the NetVault Server.

Use this option if the device is locally attached to the server.

-c

Specifies the name of the NetVault Client.

Use this option if the device is attached to a client or remote NetVault Server.
